Project Management

It's often like herding cats. Just when you think they are all going in the correct direction they break for it. That temporary thing, the project. Defining the task to do, identifying the stakeholders, clearing lines of communication, managing the expectations and budgets for time and money. A big job. Many times it is confused with managing a product. A product will have many projects over its lifetime. The one which determines it market place and ROI. Another to bring it into existence then another to start production. Plenty of projects over it's production life will repair and enhance the product. Then finally it is time to move on and the project to end the life of that product till take the stage.

I have worked to the Standards and Practices of the internationally recognized Project Management Institute (PMI) and their theories outlined in the book "Project Management Body of Knowledge" ( The PMBOK). Of course there have been decades of personal management expertise added to that.  Like daily SCRUMs for Agile software development. Other extreme programming theories have been used for electronic and mechanical designs as well. All to ensure that the business use case will be adhered to.
